Daniel's birth and death dates are extracted from the cemetery records of Hoffman's, which appeared in the Fourth Series, VOL. II, of EGLES NOTES AND QUERIES, 1895, page 227-232. In these records it notes: Daniel Hoffman, s/o Johannes was married in the year 1800 to Elizabeth Hoffman, and died June 8, 1814. "He was a farmer residing near the church on the farm lately owned by George Row. He descended from Lieut. John Hoffman, of Captain Deibler's company in the Revolution." This additional information found in the extracted records of Hoffman's Church as noted in Egles Notes and Queries.
