Douglas Pope on October 4, 1991 in Mooresville. Laura attended Avon High School and worked as a teacher's aide for North Putnam School Corporation. She was a member of United Community Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include her husband, J. D.; sons, J. Douglas Pope, Jr. (Taylor), Jordan Nelson Pope; daughter, Whitney Louise Pope; parents, John (Carol) Swadner, Beverly Kersey; brother, John (Martha) Swadner and sister, Penny (Butch) Orr.
