Rebecca Elaine Little, 26, went to be with the Lord, on May 2, 2014. She is survived by her parents, Charles Little, Jr. and Sylvia Little and brother, Charles (Rebecca Barnhill) Little, III. She is also survived by her grandfather, Charles Little, Sr., grandmother, Bettie Little, grandfather William (Joan) Bandy, and loving aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Carol Bandy.
Rebecca had many dreams, the most important of which she accomplished. She shared her love of Jesus with everyone she met by loving them as He did. Many people's days were made brighter by her sweet smile and happy outlook. Rebecca was a proud alumna of the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) where she helped recruit future Alabama football players and met many of her closest friends. While she never had the opportunity to teach professionally, she loved her students both from her time as a student teacher and her time at Riverview Camp for Girls. Rebecca will be missed by many. We are eager to join her in heaven and only sad for our loss, but overjoyed at her gain.
A celebration of Rebecca's life will be on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Macland Road Church of Christ, 2732 Macland Road, Marietta, GA 30064. Visitation will follow.
