St. Helen - Dorothy Marie Horn, 97, of St. Helen and formerly of Marysville, died Sunday, March 18, 2018.

She was born May 19, 1920 in Detroit to the late Frank and Marie Okrie. She married Edward F. Horn on September 13, 1941 in Detroit. He preceded her in death on October 26, 2001.

Dorothy was employed as a secretary for the City of Marysville and the school districts in Utica and Mt. Clemens until her retirement in 1973. She was a long-time volunteer at the St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Port Huron. She was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church and participated in the Rosary Altar Society.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Diane (Edward) Ripplinger and Linda (Robert) Robilliard; grandchildren, Vicki Gonzalez, Steven Ripplinger, Todd and Troy Robilliard, Kristin Michaelis and Craig Fenton; 19 great grandchildren, Aaron, Kayla, Josh, Nathan, Dominic, Alexandra, Evan, Samantha, Cody, Ashley, Kyle, Josh, Taylor, Koda, Trevor, Kyra, Reagan, Lucas and Ella; six great great grandchildren, Carter, Tanner, Wes, Kinley, Layla and Logan; a brother, Leonard (Ilene) Okrie; a sister-in-law, Mary Okrie; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Judith Smotel; granddaughter, Kelly Hennig; great grandson, T.J.; and two brothers, Bob and Frank Okrie.

Inurment will be in the Riverlawn Cemetery Columbarium.
