Ruth Elizabeth Kaylor Fleenor, Maredia, I am a direct line descendant of John Caylor/Kaylor who many believe is the brother of Daniel. We found this info when looking at Ruth:
Solomon and Ruth Kaylor were married November 2, 1815. The 1820, 1830, and 1840 census indicate the age of Solomon's wife as 26-49, 30-39, and 40-49. I am guessing Ruth would have been born sometime around 1794 or before.
The 1850 census indicates Solomon is married to an Elizabeth, age 46, which would indicate a birth year of around 1804.
I located a death certificate for M.L Fleener (Moses Fleenor), youngest son of Solomon. The death certificate for M.L. Fleener indicates mother's name as Bettie Andese (Andis).
So I am thinking that Ruth Kaylor Fleenor could have died sometime after the 1840 census, and Solomon remarried Elizabeth "Bettie" Andis by 1841. What do you think?
