Robert Cole Passes Away
Robert A. Cole, 82, Lockeford, died yesterday morning in a Stockton hospital following a long illness. Mr. Cole was born in Tennessee, moved to the State of Washington in 1903 where he worked for the state highway department, and also as a logger in the lumber business. He had lived in this area, in retirement since 1943. He was a past member of the Odd Fellows Lodge and the Modern Woodmen of America.
He is survived by a son, Newton Cole, Lockeford, and a daughter, Mrs. R.E. Hoffman of Sultan, Wash.
Cremation with inurment in the family niche at Lodi Memorial Mausoleum.
