Before joining the WPRI staff, Richard was the lighting director for John Cafferty and Beaver Brown. Richard had many passions in life. He was an avid collector of antiques, rocks and minerals, stamps and hot sauces. He loved nature, expressing that appreciation through astronomy and gardening and held a master gardener certification from URI. He also loved cooking, collecting wine and taking trips to North Conway, N.H.
