Drew Daniel Beasley, age 85, of Middletown, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, April 28, 2014. He was born May 22, 1928 in Wolfe County, Kentucky, the son of John Beasley and Grace (George) Beasley. He was a Korean War veteran. Drew worked at Packaging Corporation for 42 years. He enjoyed working in the yard and bird watching. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Mae (Palmer) Beasley; one daughter, Pam (David) Williams; one stepson, Phillip (Patricia) Lattimer; 10 grandchildren including Jamie (Terry) Witt, Corey Pedraza, Joey (Tara) Johnson, Emily Williams; 17 great grandchildren including Candace Lamb; one sister, Evalee Watts; three nieces, Pauline (Willard) Lawson, Diane Lykins, Karen Pash; and nephews, George (Joan) Hollon, Dicky (Patty) Beasley, Roger (Pam) Hollon, Paul Watts, Billy Watts. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Debbie Johnson; stepdaughter, Patricia Lattimer; two great grandchildren; his parents; brothers, George (Exie) Beasley, Theodore (Lona) Beasley, Carl Beasley, Frank Beasley; sisters, Mable (Elza) Hollon; and two nephews, Albert "Millard" Hollon and Greg Watts. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with Pastor Ray Phillips officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 AM until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the O'Hair Cemetery, Trent, Kentucky with military honors by the U.S. Army National Guard, 1:00 PM Monday.
