FRATICIDE
Bob Ogle shot his brother Dave through the head with a bullet from a Winchester rifle, at the Ogle camp south of Rocksprings, Edwards county, last Friday. Bob made no attempt to escape and was arrested and placed in jail at Rocksprings by Sheriff Bezarth.
Dave Ogle died from the effect of the wound Saturday [Friday] night. The trouble was brought up unintentionally and unexpectedly on the part of the deceased. Dave Ogle and his sister had a misunderstanding about a wagon and Bob, who has never been very bright, resented Dave's action or remarks and getting his Winchester shot him through the head as stated above. Dave Ogle was 37 years of age and was for many years a cowman of the Sonora country and a good citizen. He leaves a widow and two step children and five children by his first wife to mourn his loss. Will Ogle, a brother, is a good citizen and cattleman of the Sonora country and the tragedy is a terrible blow to him and his aged father. Bob Ogle is about 22 years of age.
