FORMER CO. TEACHER DIED NOVEMBER 10

Miss Lucile Christine Ackerman passed away at her home at 123 South 23rd on Tuesday, November 10th from a heart attack.

She was born to Mr. and Mrs. John Ackerman at Herman, Nebraska, on October 13, 1900, and had just passed her 64th birthday last month.

Miss Ackerman graduated from Herman High School in 1919 and taught in the Washington County schools for 42 years. Schools in which she taught were Vacoma, Peaceful Hill and Brodersen before teaching in the rural High Schools of Hill Creek, Washington, Bisbee and New England. She taught in the Spiker school from 1957 to 1962.

One brother, Floyd F. Ackerman, and two sisters, Alma T. and Leona A. Ackerman, survive. They all resided together in Blair.

The Rosary was recited at the Campbell Mortuary on Thursday evening with Father Edward O'Donnell in charge. Funeral services will be at the St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church at 10 a.m. on Friday. Father Patrick Nolan will be in charge. Burial will be in the Blair Holy Cross Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Henry Lammers, Leonard Petersen, A. I. Magill, Albert Petersen of Herman, Harold Misfeldt of Kennard, and Herb Nelson on Blair.
