Mr. Adkins was born March 16, 1955 in Berrien County Mi.
Survivors include: his wife- Onna (Lard); a son, Walter Martin Adkins Jr. of Dowagiac; and a daughter, Amanda Jean Adkins of Dowagiac.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Fairplain Chapel Benton Harbor, of Florin Funeral Service, where friends may call today from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in North Shore Memory Gardens.
