Betty went to be with the Lord, on April 23, 2014, at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her husband Ebb A. Pounds, sister Carol Spendlove, brother Valgene Crandall of Utah, and is survived by son Steven Pounds; daughters Valerie Moore and Karen Flint; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Betty was born & raised in Provo where she met & married Air Force lieutenant Ebb Pounds.

After a tour in Tokyo (during the occupation) they moved to Sacramento, CA in 1949.

Ebb was a well-known local realtor specializing in mountain property, and an Elder at Fair Oaks Presbyterian where he & Betty were active church members.

Betty stayed involved with family, friends & FOPC Women's Fellowship. She loved to paint and was a member of the Sacramento Arts Club.

Her Memorial service will be May 8th, 1:00 p.m., at Fair Oaks Presbyterian Church, 11427 Fair Oaks Blvd., Fair Oaks, CA 95628;
she will then be laid to rest in the Court of Honor alongside her husband at Mt. Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback Ln., Fair Oaks. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be sent to: FOPC Women's Fellowship and Outreach.
