Simon was the son of Major & Judge Charles Frost(1678-1724) & his wife Sarah Wainwright(1682-1714)

Simon(Symon)Frost graduated from Harvard College (now called Harvard University) in 1729. he became a Representative to the General Court. from 1747-1749, then was appointed Judge of the Interior Court of Common Pleas on August 12, 1749 & was reappointed on May 23, 1760. He built a home on Goodwin Road in Eliot, Maine.

Judge Simon Frost married 2/20/1750 to Mrs. Mercy Sewall Harmon(1718-1817), widow of Joseph Harmon of York, Maine. She was the daughter of Samuel Sewall & his wife Lydia Storer of York, Maine.

Simon & his wife Mercy children were:
1. Sarah Frost(1751-1791)married Rev. Alpheus Spring - Kittery, Maine
2. Lydia Frost(1753-)
3. Mary Frost(1755-1791)married Henry Sherburn
4. Pvt. Simon Frost, Jr.(1757-1803)married Jane Emery - Berwick, Maine

" Simon Frost was buried on the south side of the road leading to Berwick to Portsmouth through the north side of Eliot, about 50 rods from former residence of Judge Simon Frost. There is a small yard, enclosed by rough stonewall in which there are several graves. Simon's gravestone is lying on the ground is a slate stone much broken".

" In Remembrance of Simon Frost, Esq Justice of the Court of Common Pleas and Registered Probate for the County of York. He departed this Life in the year, 3 Feb'ry 1766 ae. 60 "
