She was born January 8, 1941 in Clarksville, AR to Deyo Clark and Ena (Walker) Clark.
Mrs. Mitchel was a retired personnel director for Washington County, a member of Eastside Missionary Baptist Church in Fayetteville, but most of all was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband Mike Mitchell, one son Mike Mitchell and wife Tammy of West Fork, AR, and two grandsons, Travis and Trevor Mitchell both of West Fork, AR.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 6th from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 7th in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with Reverend Phil Meisenheimer and Reverend Gene Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
Pallbearers will be Travis Mitchell, Trevor Mitchell, Larry Perdue, Sid Reif, Oran Sanders, and Dick Houskeeper.
