Nancy Ann Bell, known as Ann by her family, married Roderick McCullough Taliaferro, son of Richard Taliaferro and the former Mildred Powell, in 1826. Ann and Roderick had eight children:

Nancy Ann Bell Taliaferro departed this life just days shy of her 80th birthday on February 19th 1885. She was laid to rest in Friendship Cemetery near her children that preceded her to the tomb.
