Singer. She was an original member and lead singer of the musical group The "Friends of Distinction". Formed in 1968 in Los Angeles, California, they were best known for their 1960's hits "Grazing In The Grass", "Love Or Let Me Be Lonely" and "You Got Me Going In Circles". She left group and began singing with "Earth, Wind and Fire" from 1972 to 1973. She later joined George Clinton and Parliament-Funkadelic for several recordings. She died following complications from a stroke.
