He was born on March 11, 1971 in Princeton, KY to Rev. Eugene and Linda McKnight. He was formerly employed with Lear Corporation/IAC in Madisonville and was a member of New Hope Holiness Church in Dawson Springs.
He was preceded in death by his nephews, Skylar Barnett and Jacob McDonald.
He is survived by his mother and father, Rev. Eugene and Linda McKnight of Dawson Springs; his sons, Austin "Spanky" McKnight of Madisonville and Joshua Garrett of Sebree, KY; his life long soul mate, Tammy McKnight of Madisonville; his sisters, Lexia McKnight of Dawson Springs, Kim (Rev. Douglas) Barnett of Nebo, KY and Roxie (Bryan) Henson of Martinsville, IN; his grandsons, Caleb Townsend and Casey Garrett both of Sebree; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 5, 2014 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Rev. Butch McKnight officiating and Bro. Thurman Harris assisting. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Dawson Springs.
