Jeannette W. Favale, 85, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Florida Hospital in Tampa, Florida.

Born Jeannette Leigh Wright on January 28, 1929 in Perham, Maine to the late Alice (nee-Devoe) and Acland L. Wright, Jeannette, a longtime resident of Connecticut, moved with her husband John to Charlotte County, Florida in 1993.

A retired Data Manager for Baskin-Robbins, she was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star (Goodwill Chapter) in Watertown, CT and was a former Grand Lecturer; also, member of Order of Amaranth and a Past Grand Matron, and Daughters of the Nile and Past Queen. Jeannette also enjoyed longtime membership in the Port Charlotte United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, John A. Favale; a daughter, Janice (Don) Bowers, son Albert Favale, and a sister, Velma Wright.

A Memorial service celebrating Jeannette's life will be held 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 6th, 2014 at Port Charlotte United Methodist Church, 21075 Quesada Avenue in Port Charlotte, with Pastor Brian James officiating.

Committal with inurnment to follow will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Watertown, Connecticut at a later date.

Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Homes & Crematory, Port Charlotte Chapel.
