His funeral service was held this afternoon, Nov. 1, at Garland-Van Arkel-Langkamp Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa, Pastor Alvern Boetsma of the Good News Chapel officiating. Burial: Forest Cemetery. Memorials may be made in his name for the Good News Chapel.

He was a 2004 graduate of Oskaloosa High School, and currently was studying computer electronics at Indian Hills Community College.
