Mary V. Cooper, 89, of Leesburg, a lifelong Loudoun County resident and homemaker, died Sept. 18 in Leesburg.
She was born June 3, 1918, in Oatlands to the late George Cleveland and Bertie T. Powell. Ms. Cooper was employed for 22 years by Col. and Ms. Michael Grenata of Leesburg. She was a longtime member of the Church of God in Manassas.
Her husband, John Alvin Cooper, and two daughters, Doris Dockery and Betty Haynes, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, George Cooper of Leesburg; her daughter, Mary Ross, also of Leesburg; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to the Church of God building fund, 8823 Rixlew Lane, Manassas, VA 20110.
She was buried in Leesburg Union Cemetery.
Arrangements were by Loudoun Funeral Chapel of Leesburg.
