Mrs. Gertrude Faust, 85, of 1746 Levering Place, Bethlehem, died yesterday morning in the Mary Ellen Convalescent Home, Hellertown. Born in this city on August 5, 1885, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Matilda Shoemaker Acker, and lived for a time in Girardville.
Her husband, Edward, died in 1948. Surviving are two sons, Lincoln Faust, Smoketown; and Percy, Bakersfield, Calif., and a daughter, Mrs. Meredith (Dorothy) Lester, Bethlehem; and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday from the Bachman and Rosenstock Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. Richard E. Owens officiating. Interment will be in Vine Street Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
