Major League Baseball Player. He was a infielder, making his debut with the Chicago White Stockings on May 1, 1880. For thirteen seasons, he played with the Chicago White Stockings-Chicago Colts (1880-91) and Pittsburgh Pirates in 1892. He finished his career with a record of 1299 hits, 39 homeruns, 722 runs scored, 683 runs batted in and a .264 batting average.
