CHANDLER, Arizona--Annie Marguerite ''Neta'' White Benson, age 87, passed away November 28, 1992 in Chandler, of causes incident to age.

Born November 7, 1905 in Salt Lake City, Utah to William Burgess and Sarah Ash White. She was the last survivor of 12 children in her family. Married Martin Joseph Benson II June 1, 1922; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple November 26, 1974. He died June 18, 1978. Active member of the LDS Church serving in Primary and Sunday School and, as a visiting teacher. She loved music, singing in Ward choirs and was attuned to playing the piano very well by ear. Member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Formerly employed by Hotel Utah.

A beautiful and loving, wife, mother, and grandmother, she is survived by two sons, Martin Joseph Benson III, LaVerkin; and David Gary Benson, Chandler, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services Monday, December 7, at 12 noon, Edgehill Ward Chapel, 1750 South 1500 East. Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Sunday evening 6-8 p.m., and at the ward Monday, 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens in Sandy, Utah.
