PARKER, KENYA A., age 26, of Fairfield, died April 30, 2005. He was on active duty in the United States Army as a Light Wheel Mechanic. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 7, at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Fairfield with burial in G. W. Carver Memorial Gardens. Pastor Robert Twyman officiating. Survivors: mother, Aundria D. Parker; father, Ronald Parker; sister, LaTonya (Darren) Stephens; two nieces, Elexis and Ashlee Stephens; and a host of other relatives and friends. Eastside Funeral Home directing.
He is also honored on Warriors Walk, Ft. Stewart, GA.

Parker had talked about making the Army a career, but those who knew him had another idea _ comedy. "He just used to have everybody laughing all the time," said his mother, Diane. "Everybody used to tell him he needed to be a comedian, he needed to be on stage. He just said, ''One day, I will be up there.''
