Mrs. Angela Gail Matthews, age 25, Twentynine Palms, CA passed away April 15, 2014.
Survivors include her husband, Christopher Matthews; one daughter, Dakota Matthews; mother, Carolyn Lowery of McCaysville, GA; brothers, Greg (Susie) Lowery, Anthony Lowery, James Lowery all of McCaysville, GA and Robert (Tabitha) Coursy of Atlanta, GA; sisters, Stephanie (Rev. Joey) Ensley of Blue Ridge, GA, Crystal (Billy)Saunders of McCaysville, GA, Pam Coursy, Melissa Coursy, and Kathy Coursy all of Atlanta, GA; grandmother, Josie Gilbert of McCaysville, GA; Father-in-law, Gary (Karen) Matthews; mother-in-law Molly and (Michael) Alvis; sister-in-law, Lydia (Enrique) Velazquez; grandmother-in-law, Polly Mixon; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from the Bethel Church with Rev. Doug Payne and Rev. Donald Weaver officiating. Music will be provided by Justin Queen, Raven Welch, Benny Picklesimer and the Bethel Church Choir. Serving as pallbearers will be Greg Lowery, Anthony Lowery, James Lowery, C.J. Lowery, Dillon Lowery and Jay Lowery. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Devon Lowery, Timmy Ensley, Andrew Plemons, and Scotty Plemons . Interment will follow in the Bethel Cemetery. The family will meet with friends at the Church prior to the service from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour.
