In Woodstock, Conn., Oct. 25, 1907, Solomon C. Burdick, aged sixty years.

Bro. Burdick, whose home was in Westerly, had gone to Woodstock for two or three days of business and pleasure. He was taken suddenly ill on Friday previous to his death, and from the first there appeared little hope of recovery. His family were with him at the last. Mr. Burdick was generally known in westerly, almost all of his life having been passed here. He was the son of Isaac C. and Mary Louiza Burdick. He was one of eleven children, of whom three survive him - Elizabeth, wife of Col. J. A. Babcock, of Westerly, Thomas T., of Alfred, and George N., also of Westerly. He was married in 1882 to Hannah C. Doty of Stonington, Conn., who with the three children born to them, Carl E., Mary L., and Ruth C., survives him. He was a member of the First Seventh-day Baptist Church of Hopkinton. The funeral, which was very largely attended, was held at the church in Westerly, Sabbath afternoon, Oct. 26th.
