Janet Marie (Neuschwanger) Dillon, 65, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at her home.
Jan was born on October 13, 1948 to the late Paul and Marie (Farris) Neuschwanger. She graduated from North High School in 1965 and earned a business degree from Lockyear Business College. Jan was owner and operator of Dillon's Day Care and retired from Evansville State Hospital after many years of service. She was always giving of herself and loved taking care of the homeless. Jan also enjoyed shopping.
Jan is survived by her daughters, Jamie Dillon of Evansville, IN, Shaena Dillon-Herndon (Tim) of Greenville, NC; son, Nathan Dillon of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Meagan Dillon, Brittney Short (Jeffrey), Hannah Vincent, Elexis Vincent, Austin Jones, Elainah Grace Vincent; great-grandchildren, Emily Rios Dillon, Ayden Short, Elisa Rios Dillon and one on the way, Gabriel Short.
Jan was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer L. Dillon in 2000; her parents; and a sister, Pam Reynolds in 2011.
