NAMPA — Memorial services for Beatrice Gladys Gilkison, 55, of 518 West Edwards, Nampa, who died of natural causes Tuesday at a Nampa hospital, will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Nampa First Congregational Church by the Rev. Abner P. Frost, pastor.

She was born July 2, 1921, at San Fransisco, where she was reared and educated. She married Elwood E. Gilkison Jan. 2, 1944, at San Fransisco. In 1951, they moved to Redwood City, Calif., in 1963, to Rockland, Calif., and in 1976 to Nampa, where they had since resided.

She was a member of OES Heber Chapter No. 181, Roseville, Calif., and the Nampa First Congregational Church.

Surviving are her husband, Nampa; four daughters, Carol A. Carpineta, Stockton, Calif., Donna L. and Eileen G. Gilkison, both Nampa, and Katherine J. McAchron, Caldwell; a son, James E. Gilkison, Roseville; her mother, Mrs. Elsi Beatrice Allen, San Fransisco; three sisters, Florence G. Harrison, Castro Valley, Calif., Phyllis Anderson, Danville, Calif., and Gargara Raye, Burlingame, Calif.; and two grandsons. She was preceded in death by her father.

Friends may call at Alsip Chapel Thursday until 9 p.m.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Nampa First Congregational Church.
