Louise S. Purcell,77, of Willow Gardens Care Center, died there Saturday after a long illness. Services: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Turner Chapel West, where friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday. Burial: Oak Hill Cemetery .

Survivors include two sons, Dennis and Bruce, both of Van Horne; three daughters, Barbara Gibbs of Cedar Rapids, Mary Ann Anderson of Buxton, N.D., and LaVonne Parsons of Grand Forks, N.D.; and two brothers, Henry Odegard of Oregon and Albert Odegard of Fargo, N.D.

Also surviving are 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, in 1971; two sons, Robert and Ronald; and a daughter, Betty Ann.

Louise was born March 1, 1915, in Grand Forks, N.D., where she married Edward Purcell. She was a member of Central Park Presbyterian Church and Top Notch Club, and she spent many days at the Jane Boyd Community House.

The Rev. Philip Windsor of Central Park Presbyterian Church will officiate. A memorial fund has been established for the Diabetes Association, Iowa Affiliate Inc., 888 10th St., Marion 52302.
