Amy Jo Martin Felsing,21, of Waipio, Hawaii, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Jan. 18 of injuries received in an automobile accident in Honolulu. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Bethany Lutheran Church. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery . Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home and after 9:30 a.m. Monday at the church.
Survivors include her husband, Paul; her parents, Rick and Kathy Martin of Cedar Rapids; and a brother, Brad Martin of Cedar Rapids.
Also surviving are her great-grandparents, Delmar and Jessie Mershon of Oxford Junction, and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Art and Joyce Felsing of Center Point.
Amy was born April 15, 1971, in Marrero, La., and married Paul J. Felsing on May 30, 1992, in Cedar Rapids. She graduated from Washington High School in 1989 and attended the University of Iowa. She had worked at Long John Silver's restaurant for several years. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church and had lived in Waipio for five months with her husband, a Navy petty officer.
The Rev. Ronald Pfluger will officiate. A memorial fund has been established.
