Marie Owens passed away on Wednesday April 30th, 2014 in Tulsa Oklahoma. Marie was a lifelong Wyoming Resident but she had recently moved to Oklahoma, to be closer to family. She was born Marie Aileen Frosheiser on March 11th, 1931 in Douglas, Wyoming to Alexander Frosheiser and Grace Aileen Frosheiser. On June 11th, 1948 Marie married John Lawrence Owens in Douglas, Wyoming. They were happily married for over 60 years until John's death. Marie worked at Control Data and Multi List in Casper for many years until she retired. John and Marie were both active in the Casper Elks Lodge and they forged many lasting friendships thru their participation in lodge events. Marie was preceded in death by her parents, husband John Owens, and her eldest daughter Victoria Hicks. Marie will be placed to rest with her husband John, at the Wyoming Veterans Cemetery in a private family ceremony.
