Mark Shane Henson passed away at home with his family by his side on February 13 in Petaluma California.

Shane was predeceased by his father George L. Henson Jr.; nephew, Charles R. Henson and niece, Stephanie M. Buck.

Shane is survived by his wife, Nancy Connell-Henson of Petaluma, California; his mother,:Maxine Henson of Decatur, Illinois; brothers, Douglas Henson (Dee) of Rockford, Illinois and Regie Henson (Debra) of Denver, Colorado, as well as five nephews and four nieces. He also leaves two great nephews and two great nieces. Shane will be missed by his In-Laws, Jim and Gerry Connell of Oakmont California, Pat Connell (Bob Simonis) of Petaluma and Mary Connell of Novato California.

Shane was a lab technician for many years working in the field of AIDS and Cancer research. He was very artistic and enjoyed stained glass work as well as playing the drums. Shane will be missed by his beagles, Rocky and Sandy. He loved life and will be missed by many.
