Patricia G. Brunson, age 77 of Enfield, died unexpectedly at her home, entering into eternal life on Monday, April 28, 2014 her loving husband of 43 years, was at her side.

Born in Hartford on March 27, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Nellie (Szyszka) Bonitz. Patricia lived in Enfield for 31 years and retired from Kimberly Hall south as an LPN after many years. Besides the time spent with her adoring family, Patricia enjoyed crossword puzzles, traveling, playing solitaire, cooking and spending time in her garden. As a former member of the Buckley High School choir in Hartford, it was known that she also loved to sing.

Patricia will be remembered by her loving husband and five children, 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was an animal lover and will be missed greatly by her furry friends; her dog, Bella and her cat, Diva.

Her family will receive relatives and friends at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South rd., Enfield, from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, May 1st. A funeral service for Patricia will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, May 2nd at Leete-Stevens. Burial will follow in St. Adalbert's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances in Patricia's name may be made to Hartford Hospital, Fund Development Office, P.O. Box 5037, Hartford, CT 06102-5037.
