METZ, Donald A., Jr. – of Marion, MI, passed away May 1, 2014 at the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Saginaw or Ann Arbor VA Hospital Palliative Care Ward.
Don was born in Flint, MI on May 1, 1947, son of the late Donald A. and Laura Mae (McClure) Metz. He served his country with the U.S. Army serving one tour in Germany and two tours in Vietnam.
Don is survived by his sisters, Sandra (Charles) Nitzschke and Deloris Hilliard; nephews, Joe, Ron (Shelly), Scott (Rosie) Nitzschke; nieces, Sharon (Jim) Whitworth, Heather Hilliard; great-nephews, Michael Whitworth and Joshua Nitzschke.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Dewayne Metz.
