Mrs. Sue Ethel Acker
Mrs. Sue Ethel Berkheimer Acker died Sunday at her home, New Paris, R. D., following a lengthy illness.
She was born April 30, 1882, a daughter of the late Alexander B. and Almira Claycomb Berkheimer and was married June 4, 1903, to H. Franklin Acker. He died in November, 1942.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Beulah Rhodes, of Altoona, and Miss Ethel Acker, at home; two grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Shannon Claycomb, Osterburg and Mrs. Ross Hammer, Osterburg, R. D.
Mrs. Acker was a member of the Reformed Church of Osterburg.
Funeral services: Wednesday at 2 p. m. at the Blackburn Funeral home, Pleasantville, with the Rev. Roy Clemence, Bedford, officiating. Interment in the Reformed Cemetery, Osterburg.
