He was born December 13, 1923 in Nicholas Co. to the late Nathan & Thelma McConnell Mann, was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, was a retired employee of Jockey International, a member of Daugherty Lodge #65 F. & A.M. and was a member of Saltwell United Methodist Church.
Other survivors include a daughter Beverly (Philip) Sansom, Largo, Florida, a brother Don (Phyllis) Mann, Georgetown, Ohio, 2 sisters Marjorie Platt & Doris (Morgan) Riggs both of Cynthiana, 2 granddaughters Stephanie French, Belleair Bluffs, Florida & Alisa Smith, Brandon, Florida and 2 great-grandsons Jacob & Jordan Smith.
Services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Mathers-Gaunce F.H. by Rev. Howard Livingood and Rev. James Gaunce. Burial will follow in Carlisle Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday.
