Audrey, 71, of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on April 29, 2014, in the Pine Prairie Manor Nursing Home. She was born on August 4, 1942, in Spring Prairie, to the union of Dorcelee Ceasar, Sr. and Alice (Gradney) Ceasar. She was a homemaker and a member of the Sarcred Heart Catholic Church. Audrey was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Douglas Lavargne; two brothers, Dorecelee John Ceasar, Jr. and Joseph Aubrey Ceasar; and one sister, Theresa Espree.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her loving family, three sons, Adam and Lacitta Lavargne of Oakdale, Aunaray Lavargne of Houston, Texas and Aundray Lavargne, wife Ruthie of Houston, Texas; one brother, Joseph R. Ceasar of Houston, Texas; one sister, Mary Marjorie Dixon of Oberlin; ten grandchildren, Scotty Soileau, Courtney Thomas, Douglas Lavargne, Wilfred Lavargne; Aundray Lavargne, Jr.; Lacitta Lavargne; Paris Martin, Johnavin Stanley Lavargne, Jazzlyn Lavargne, and Andre Matthews; three great grandchildren, Aniya Williams, Roderick Williams, Jr., and Khileigh Lavargne; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will begin Friday, May 2, 2014 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. in the chapel.
