Lydia Sophie Oehler Leichsenring, 96, of Heritage Acres Care Center, died there Thursday after a long illness. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, Teahen Funeral Home, where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Saturday. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery .
Survivors include two sons, Harlan of Cedar Rapids and Gene of Dallas.
Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Cliff and Melvin.
Born Jan. 18, 1897, in Middle Amana, she married Carl Leichsenring on April 29, 1919, in Marengo. He died in 1967. She was a member of First Lutheran Church.
The Rev. Walter May Jr. will officiate. A memorial fund has been established.
