He was born to Dennis D. and Debra M. (Snyder) Dodson April 4, 1975, in Tiffin.
Survivors include his mother, a son, Dakota J. Kent; a daughter, Cheyenne M. Adair; two sisters, Michelle A. (Brian) Schoenfeld and Sherry L. (Russ) Sauers; four nieces, Paige, Alexis, Megan and Ashley; a nephew, Brandon; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father; maternal and paternal grandparents; and an uncle.
Michael was an appliance technician for various appliance shops. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin. He was an avid artist, loved animals, fishing and camping. The highlights of his life were the births of his children, spending time with family, earning his G.E.D. and renewing his faith.
Visitation for family and friends will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 pm Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, OH 44883, (419) 447-3113, with a wake service at 8 p.m.
Prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, at the funeral home followed by his funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, with the Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. The rosary will be recited 20 minutes prior to the Mass at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or the family in care of the funeral home.
