Anne J. Ashby, 86, of 3018 N. Center Point Rd., Marion, died Sunday, Aug. 29, 1993, in her home after a short illness. Services: 3 p.m. Wednesday, First Lutheran Church, by the Rev. Kay Slocum. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery . Friends may call from 5 to 7 tonight at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband, Maurice; six daughters, Louanne Ashby of Cedar Rapids, Joann Grimm, Linda Horne and Barbara Ashby-Kohen, all of Denver, Colo., Maurine Puffer of Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., and Sandra Zeman of Island Falls, Maine; a sister, Edna Allen of Renton, Wash.; and a brother, Harold Krueger of Cottonwood, Ariz.

Also surviving are eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Anne was born Nov. 18, 1906, in Bisbee, N.D., and married Maurice W. Ashby on April 20, 1929, in Bloomington, Ill. Anne was a registered nurse in Red Wing, Minn., for several years. She was a member of First Lutheran Church and a Kappa Delta Mother at Coe College.
