AUGUSTUS B. MIKESELL, 96, of 16 East Ranson Ave., Blairsville, died Monday, Jan. 5, 1970 at the Celia Cribbs Rest Home, Black Lick. Born May 9, 1873, in Cente Twp., he was the son of John K. and Kerenhappuch Coy Mikesell.
Surviving are his wife, Lucretia Mahan Mikesell; a son and three daughters: Ira G. Lewis Campbell, and Mrs. Gene (Iola) Auen, both of Blairsville R.D.; Mrs. Gladys Short and Mrs. Carl (Annabell) Auen, both of Blairsville; 14 grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, R.D. 1, Blairsville, after 7 p.m. tonight where services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. William Wood, officiating. Interment will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.
