Kelly Ann Brewer, age 48, passed away peacefully at her San Antonio residence on August 11, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. Kelly was born February 1, 1958 in Brownwood, Texas. She was preceded in death by her mother Anna Kay Brewer. She is survived by her brother Shan Brewer and his wife Abby Brewer of San Antonio, her sisters, Tracie Lynn Brewer of San Antonio, Leslie and her husband Jim Gammage of Austin. One of Kelly's great loves were her nieces, Mercedes Fernandez, Andrea Kasper, Hallie and Belicia Brewer, and nephews, Zachary Brewer, Carlos, his wife Laura and their son Carlitos Fernandez, Andres Fernandez, Casen Kasper and Stamps, her Labrador. The family will hold a private memorial and in lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the American Cancer Society. The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Takimoto of Cancer Therapy and Research Center and The Vitas Innovative Hospice and especially Pauline, Hope, Diana and Laurie for their love and care of Kelly and support of the family.
