The daughter of Jonathan Boone and Anna Williams, Louisa came to Iowa when she was 18 months old; her family made their home on a farm five miles northeast of Tipton. Louisa and Jesse Calvin Wills were married February 10, 1876. The couple had five children, two of whom died in infancy.
Louisa was survived by son W. S. Wills and daughters Maude and Nell Wills; brothers Cyrus and Loveless Boone; one granddaughter, and one great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
She will be remembered as a kind and devoted mother, interested primarily in her home and family.
