Private family services for Iva Milkes Brewer, 85, Whitewater, Wis. will be held Thursday morning, July 29, 1976 at the Chapel of Macy & Son with the Rev. Verle Mitchell officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Mrs. Brewer died July 26 in Whitewater. The daughter of William A. and Mary Isabelle Underwood Forbes, she was born April 13, 1891 at Mt. Vernon, Wash. She grew up in Seattle and attended business college there.
She married Orson "Dad" Milkes on May 21, 1927 in Seattle. They moved to McMinnville that year and operated the Sanitary Dairy until retiring in 1946. He died in 1960. She married Fred Brewer in 1965 and they moved to Wisconsin about 1970. He died that year.
Mrs. Brewer was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Margaret Burns, Las Vegas.
