Helen Marie (Skalecki) Foley, 92, of Braintree passed away April 28, 2014, at the Inn at Silver Lake in Kingston. Beloved wife of the late Frederick Foley Sr. Loving mother of Frederick W. Foley and his fianc Nancy OBrien of Braintree and his former wife Dale Foley, Janice Olds and her husband Dr. Robert B. Olds D.V.M. of the Pacific Palasades, Calif. and Osterville, Mass., Kevin P. Foley and his wife Deborah of Kingston, and John J. Jack Foley of Braintree. Dear sister of Eva Ghetti of Vero Beach, Fla. and Dorothy Manley of Halifax, Mass. Devoted grandmother of Douglas and David Foley, Geoff and Brian Olds, Devin and Andrew Foley and Colin Foley. Great-grandmother of Adam and Jenna Foley, Tyler and Nicholas Foley and Kaia Foley. A Braintree resident for 69 years she was born in Boston, raised in Randolph, graduating from Randolph High School. Mrs. Foley learned to drive at age 60 following the death of her husband. She enjoyed daily walks at Pond Meadow Park and playing Bingo. She adored and cherished her family, especially her grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be held on May 2, at 10 a.m. in the Church of St. Clare 1244 Liberty St., Braintree Highlands. Interment Braintree Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit McMaster Funeral, 86 Franklin St., (Rte. 37), Braintree, on Thursday from 5 - 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Helens name may be made to Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 326, Plymouth, MA 02360 or Good Shepherd Center for Homeless Women, 267 Belmont Ave., Los Angeles, CA. 90026.
