Mary "Ruth" Tittle, 88, of Chattanooga, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 26, 2014. She was a charter member of Harmony Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Chester W. and Ella Sivley Sr.; first husband, Winfred Rogers; one son, Jimmy L. Rogers; one grandson, Jeffery C. Rogers; one sister, Vera Ballard; two brothers, Harold and Billy Ray Sivley.
She is survived by husband, Luther T. Tittle; two daughters, Diane (Larry) Caperton and Sandra Rogers; one brother, Chester W. (Pat) Sivley Jr.; three sisters, Dene (John) Tittle, Virginia (Clarence) Durham and Betty McDowell; six grandchildren, Mitch, Mike, Greg, Kristie, Brent and Brandon; six great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; several loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 3-8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, at the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home or you may visit the online guestbook @ www.turnerfamilyfuneralhome.com. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 1, at Harmony Baptist Church at 3832 Youngstown Road, Chattanooga, TN 37406 with Pastors Joey Harris and Randy Bell officiating.
