Suzanne M. Peterson,nee Mack, 75 of West Deptford, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and in the comfort of her home on April 4, 2013.

Legacy
Suzanne was born and raised in Belvidere, New Jersey, the only child of Mary H. nee Bussinger and Earl J. Mack. She graduated Belvidere High School, Class of 1955 and Rider College in 1959 with a degree in education. She taught elementary school in Hopewell Township, New Jersey for several years before marrying and starting a family. Sue married Robert Peterson in October, 1964 and enjoyed 48 years of a rich and rewarding marriage. The couple lived in Morrisville, Pennsylvania until 1971 when they moved to Belvidere, Sue's hometown. During her years in Belvidere, Sue was a substitute school teacher in the public schools. She was active in the First Presbyterian Church of Belvidere and the Order of Eastern Star of New Jersey. She was a member of Warren Chapter #128 and later chapters in Woodbury and Pitman New Jersey. Eastern Star became her career as she served her local chapter as Worthy Matron and the state organization as a grand officer and Most Worthy Grand Matron in 1999-2000. She also was actively involved in the Eastern Star Charity Foundation and Eastern Star Home Somerville, NJ. Sue celebrated 40 years as an Eastern Star member in 2013. Bob and she extensively traveled the State of New Jersey for many years attending meetings in almost if not every chapter in the state. She also enjoyed traveling especially to beautiful destinations such as Hawaii, Alaska, Jamaica, Bermuda, Mexico, Canada and Europe, often with her Eastern Star friends. Sue was an avid reader and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Sue and Bob relocated briefly to Bordentown, NJ and then moved to Thorofare in 2006 to be closer to their oldest daughter and her family.

Sue is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Robert E. Peterson, and daughters Karen A. McGuinness William and Amy B. Peterson. She was adored by and adored her grandchildren, Mary E. McGuinness and Andrew W. McGuinness.
