Daniel E. Emert, son of Frederick Emert for which Emert's Cove was named. Married to Sarah Reagan. Daniel and his wife Sarah gave the lands for the Emert Cove Methodist Episcopal Church and the Emert Cove Cemetery in the Emert Cove of Sevier County, Tennessee. Daniel Emert is buried in the Emerts Cove Cemetery next to his wife Sarah. On his headstone it is inscribed "He died in the triumphs of Faith". Emert's Cove is now called Pittman Center.
