Mrs. Betty Lou Thompson Duvall, age 68, of Crumpler, NC died on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at the Glenbridge Health & Rehab Center in Boone. Mrs. Duvall was born on April 2, 1946 in Ashe County, NC to Robert Conley and Lou Sheets Thompson. Mrs. Duvall was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Donnie Thompson and E.J. Hart. Mrs. Duvall worked at Walmart as a sales associate. She enjoyed doing puzzles and loved to read.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 2, 2014 at 3:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Lloyd Day. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Friday, May 2, 2014 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.
Mrs. Duvall is survived by: 3 daughters, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, nine grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews also survive.
