Kay Ann Murphy, 43, of Sardis, died Wednesday at home. She was born at Beavertown, a daughter of the late Eugene and Mary McPeek Holdren. She was a member of the First Baptist Church at Sardis, and was employed at the Viking Glass Co. at New Martinsville. Surviving are her husband, Clarence Murphy; three daughters, Terry McIver of New Martinsville, Nancy Shapely of New Matamoras and Jill Murphy at home; a son, Randall Murphy of New Matamoras; a sister, Janet Bedilion of Athens, one brother, Donald Holdren of Newport and five grandchildren. Services will be Saturday, 1 p.m., at the Rush Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank Conley and the Rev. Delmer Cameron officiating. Burial will be in New Matamoras Cemetery.
